In 2016, Elliot released a documentary called “Gaycation” where he and his co-host showcased different LGBTQ+ cultures from around the world. During the show, he famously confronted now-president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, about his homophobic views during an episode, citing his past suggestion that parents should “beat the gay out” of their children. More recently, Elliott gave a passionate and informed interview to Stephen Colbert, calling out Trump’s government for failure to protect LGBTQ citizens.
